I thought some peeps would like to play around with the displacement formula.
I figured out that my motor is at 803cc displacement if oem stroke is 70mm. I was a little in doubt.
85.5mm pistons w/70mm stroke.
85.5mm x 85.5mm x .7854 x 70mm x 2 cylinders = 803805.849 / 1000 = 803.805849cc...
lol
Not me....I became an expert after taking my 15 min composite and fiberglass fabrication class at the local boaters world. I even got my framed graduation certificate with a gold star on it! :bananajump:
Thanx. Toby has put a lot of work into that mold. He's got em fitting like a glove.
Hey gil, you should post some pics of it turfed and mounted.
The #1 reason I wanted to make a mold was so I could make the aftermarket parts that I was using, stronger and more durable.
$180-$250 for flimsey chin pads and nose pieces that crack and break don't do me any good.
Anything made and sold here in the 615 is at the very least 20%-30%...
"New sound supression system???" :ugh: Sounds like something else to rob power.
I know someone that needs a quieter ski. cough, cough, sjetrider, cough:poke:
I didn't think there were gonna be any more 2 strokes after 2008.
Kick ass view! Congrats on the new place!:fing02: I'd like to take a spin around that lake and do some of those flippy do thingie tricks on my water scooter.
