Flatwater Freestyle clinic

So what sort of skill level do you need to have to attend these clinics?
The second post here says "anyone at any level", but the Daytona Freeride webpage says "up to a moderate freestyle ability".

I am definitely NOT up to any freestyle ability, as I just started riding a few months ago, but I would love to attend the clinics. However, I would hate to impede anyone else's opportunity to learn from the big name pro riders and most likely get more out of the clinics than I would.

If anyone could offer some clarification or point me in the direction of the "beginners' clinics" :wink: , that would be much appreciated!

My interpretation would be; if you can stand up, turn both ways, never let go of the bars, and you have something bigger than brazil nuts in the sack between your legs -- your in. Just sign up. I'm sure Nick doesn't want it to be intimidating to anyone, you just have to be willing to learn from the best and do what they suggest.

Cool. I signed up for both, but if I will remove my name if it turns out that you need a bit more experience than that. Otherwise, looking forward to it! :beerchug:

Well, that very thing happened. I'll need to withdraw from the clinic since I will not be able to make it to Daytona this year. :stups:

My ski will be down there (monsterSJ is taking it with him and using it in the clinic). So, anyone who want's to try it out is more than welcome to.

Hopefully I can make it happen next year ('09).

Several Factors, Anita cannot get the time off............ Money being another big factor....... Not gonna totally count it out, but not looking good.

Sounds to me like you need to go solo and crash on someone's floor or extra bed :scratchchin: On second thought, that might not be the best idea. :tomato: Run it by her and see how hard you get hit :wave:

That is what I had planned already!!!!!!!!! She has already voiced her opinion on it, but it was not the time or place for me to pitch a hissy fit............
