ok well fixed it, the black ground wire had a bad spot in it so i just cut and replaced the wire

i literally just replaced my cdi with a adjustable one from pro marine so i hope it isnt the cdi, i have yet to pull the actual switch apart will do that today and see what i find, the white wire running from the switch what exactly does that wire do?

so i should just buy the regular pipe and when i do get around to getting my engine ported have the same guy match the mani and head pipe ?

my theory is any improvement is a improvment, if you have the money for it why not? im just trying to get some other peoples opinions on it

if you put both the pipe kits on the same motor regardless of your setup do u think there would be a noticeable gain or loss?, my ski is a stock 701, not sure as if its water logged or not havent cut open the tray to find out and never ridden any other sj so wouldnt know what a non water logged...

so i tested the stator and its bad, and well opened up the case to pull the flywheel and change the stator and to my surprise the cover has a layer of brown goo (looks like what oil does when water mixes with it) so some how water is getting into my case....which is what i think caused the...

there is no valve its just a hose??? it was like that when i first got the ski and it ran fine for about 2 months with it like that so i dnt think thats the cause
