Arghhhhh my cages!!!
Caught it just in time :)
Sending the crank to Chris for a rebuild and we will be back in business.
If anyone is wondering two years underwater shortens crank life by about 80%
Hard to see but there is hard steel pieces embedded in the dome and no sleeve damage.
The circus is such a different animal from the badass.. love this hull already.
Really strange though, I went from the badass to the circus with all my parts and changed nothing. Badass pulled like a freight train from bottom to top no issues as of this April. Circus feels almost over propped...
hull makes a huge difference for sure man!
I was riding the gray turd for a season and eating it all the time thinking I had lost all my mojo, turns out I only lost part of it and the ski played a part in it.
Been following your IG posts looks like you’re doing well.
Finished this little turd up enough to make the trip, eventually the bolt holes will get ground out and I’ll be putting plastic spacers in and glassing over them. Will do the job for now and doesn’t leave that huge ugly gap the jacked up metal one did.

Tuning really is an art especially with stupid horsepower setups.
Change blocks and double up on factory valves.
I promise what you’re seeing dribble at idle is nothing compared to the fuel that’s blasting out after you let off the throttle on a hard pull.
Yeah, sometimes you can’t quite get what you want with a higher pop off pressure.
If he has them close I’d try doubling up on the valves as mentioned above but sometimes that just won’t cut it.
Fuel pressure, valves, kidney blocks is generally my approach when dealing with big cc motors with...
