Maybe just cover it in dielectric grease or a conformal coating so you can get to it if you need to. Epoxy would probably work too, but seals it fate. I would epoxy the seal when you put it back together and see how that works.
I literally just tossed one in the trash last week that's been sitting for a while, most likely due to one low cell. Oh well, I'm sure one of my other couple will fail soon. haha
I'd assume so. For sure if you can hook up the balance ports. Now, I don't know if the board will cause any interference with that. It may try to balance whatever you're doing to it.
Damn, I've been wanting to do this. I've been looking at making my own with balance charging. We use these damn Anti Gravity batteries and store them at full charge degrading the life. We should be taking more care of these and you never know if you can't balance them.

That's not how it works. HP is a unit of power regardless of the primary mover. Now, you will probably get more torque per unit of HP with electric motors so it will feel like it's more powerful initially, but it takes a large electric motor to have continuous high torque.

Agreed. The Yamaha pole is alright, but the pole ends are so dainty and the pole pad is kind of ugly. I think I'll take mine off and put on an older Superjet.
