I'm with Big Kauna. Rickter hulls pretty much requires an RRP pole to look good. I can't get over any Rickter with another brand. Not that I don't like them, aesthetically they're out of place.

There are always a bunch of people who don’t post and I’m sure there will be a lot of people there. Even last minute plans are viable this year with dirt cheap flights, rental cars, and accommodations. I’ve been looking at staying some extra days but not sure how best to spend it.

I've liked them both. I've had a PFP on an 1105 with great results and also an RRP on a 964 with great results. I'd go with whatever your engine builder recommends or what you see others run with your setup.

Use a waterbox. It helps prevent water from coming in your engine and provides some sound muffling. We already get enough complaints about our skis being too loud, and straight piped skis are way too loud. OEM water boxes are great, stick with it. You won't see much of any performance...

Looks great. White top deck, black bottom with the black pole is Yamahas best color combo and really looks great. I need to restore some superjets like this. Nicely done.

I'd say it's pretty negligible. The former skis of greatness I have/had didn't have any additional monetary value, but are/were cool to me. Most of the skis I own now are something special, I've sold quite a few of the non special ones. Some buyers care, most don't.
