Hooker 9/15 is very similar to the stock '08+ impeller. Waste of money IMO. Lightened flywheel from #zero and a pipe make a huge difference. Added those to my '12 and love it

I have both plates and they are nearly identical besides the bolt holes. With that being said, it certainly helps on a pre-08 but they still will not carve as well as an 08+

For carving and buoys it's great. Nearly impossible to get the tail to slide out.

I hope the OZ guys are right. It seems like Yamaha actually provides some support to those guys and even donated a ski for a raffle. Maybe they have some inside info. Or we'll probably just see the same old same old as usual

The ADA o-rings will replace the head gasket. You'll likely need to scrape the top of the cylinder clean before installing

Buy new. A clean unmolested late model SXR or SJ still go for close to $6k…

Maybe a pump stuffer in the butt hull would provide enough thrust

Excellent hook up especially in the chop. Might lose a little speed on top end though. I run a 201 on a 2012 SJ and WB1.

Hey Matt, we have a decent size group that rides out at Lake Street Beach in Gary, Cedar Lake, and Washington Park in Michigan City. Maybe you can meet us out there sometime or we can head up by you.

It's not an easy swap but definitely worth it. It still doesn't have as much throw as a pre 08 though.

Had a great time riding with you guys. It was worth the 3 hour drive from Indiana
