how do i test my stator?

A friend of mine has a msd ignition coil is that worth snatching up or are those no better than stock because he has a new oem one too.

Okay I cut back the wires 3/4 of an inch and I wasn't sure on the spark gap but I set it about 2/3 of how they come. It made a world of a difference.

Guys, what's a better staring point 135 or 140? And how do you guys swap jets, removing the carb and replacing gasket every time? or taking the engine out?

okay i finally just got my carbs off, the screws were 1 on low speed 1.5 on high speed. the jetting is 75/135. i tested popoff and both carbs were leaking at around 30psi, pressing down the needles didnt help so i took out the needle seats and replaced the o rings. the leak was solved and the...

Is it best to change jetting first then popoff or all at once and go from there?
