Actually okay that was dramatic. It's not horrible. It just doesn't seem like it's a modded 701, it feels like a stock ski with a bottom end bog.

Guys, some of you know i haven't had the best of luck this year with two top ends toasted on my superjet. Most recently my carbs developed a leak and toasted my pistons and I ended up loosing a circlip also. So I got a new to me cylinder and new Pistons from the buzzard and slapped it together...

Maybe you need to bend the part where the spring is set down just a bit to get the desired pressure. If there's nothing wrong why fix it?

Hey guys how can I tell if I have the new silver 115g springs or old silver 65g springs. I bought them from a guy near me saying they were 115 g but I want to double check they're the ones on the end

the 701 that blew up was ported... who should i look into for case porting? im still running all stock electronics

when i first got my ski it had a 62t/62t engine so its possible the jets are from a couch, right now im going to swap the crank and top end from my 61x onto these 62t cases and save money for a big bore i believe, im still weighing my options.

I'm near sea level and I had those on my 701. It was in one carb at least I can't get the other screws out to check the jetting in the second carb.

So I lost a circlip in my engine. I was thinking of buying a complete 760 with electronics but no carbs and swapping my carbs over and running this engine. Will my 38s work? They're jetted 68.5 pilot 135 mains.

I suspect I lost a circlip. But why is the other piston and cylinder still messed up so badly after such few hours.

welded the bottom aluminum back together and cut 1.5" off the pole, epoxied the pole to the mount then riveted an aluminum band around it. I'll let you know of it works

guys!!! i need help, the ski feels underpropped or something. it has a skat 14/17 is that fine for the 650 or should i get another one? i have a skat 15.5 prop but i dont have the tools to swap the props..

So I thought I'd update I rode the ski it handles great! A little cool thing I found out is the ride plate fits a superjet also.

I had one. Wasn't horrible. I believe he tried making Sj hulls too but who knows
