Any water gets inside the engine and I would want to get it started ASAP so the bearings and other things don't start to rust. Then ride a tank or so thru it to get all the water out and dry it out.

I found some at the next town over so I'm set. All the local retailers are out around LOTO. I even called NKG and they said they have been out since Feb and have 7,000 on back order. They have no idea when they will get more.

I run them in everything, but with solid tip BR8ES's hard to find are people running 7"s? Any danger with running a tad hotter plug? I tried 9's, but they looked fouled after a few rides.

It's been awhile, but if I remember correctly I drilled a small hole, threaded a screw in the hole and put vice grips on the screw and pulled it out.

I believe the bottom and intake track on the XFS Comp (all carbon fiber) changed in 2016 . I'm not sure if the fiberglass ones changed. As far as weight goes, my notes say a 2016 XFS regular layup fiberglass hull is 120lbs, the XFR being the heavy layup model would be heavier.

We have a RRP pipe and water box. With a couple elbows in the pipe you can get it high enough in the hull that water would have a hard time back-flowing into the engine. Several seasons on this setup and never had an issue. This is the best pic I could find.

I bought a couple extra ones and took the grinder to them. I was able to make a wrench shape that works great.

I really wish 40 years ago I'd have learned to weld and fab stuff. But I'm pretty good with a hack saw and a drill.

So where does the line coming out of the bottom of the chamber go now? I’ve never used a pipe that goes forward, but I assume everything would work the same. I would hook everything up according to the diagram above. Does that new fitting on the new stinger have a jet in it?

It's hard to know from the photos, but it kind of looks like another cooling line is going thru the pipe. You said only one cooling line going to bottom of the manifold? Is that right? Does the pump have duel cooling lines coming inside the hull? One to the manifold, and another one for...

Yes, that's correct. Maybe post up some photos of your pipe so we can see the outlets.
