That P.V. should be in a different cylinder because it doesn't mate with the strange exhaust contour IMO.
The mini scupper next to the exhaust outlet is kind a neat and that exhaust system is really a fine piece of artwork too.
I guess fuse welding the stainless together helps with keeping the cost down and productivity up.
Only time will tell how well these things will hold up.
Does this guy offer any kind of warranty on these pumps if they happen fall apart?
If there's a gap issue it's probably not the pump and more likely to be the driveshaft or impeller seating.
I'll be cutting back my C75 till the blades are almost touching the vanes.
Anyone had good results with the Solas Concord YQ-CD large hub impellers with these pumps?
I was informed not to use those ceramic bearings because they won't endure the extreme pump vibrations and don't have the same rpm rating as the regular bearings. Also they're $200+ a per bearing.
I'm just going with some regular Jap C3 bearings and use synthetic pump oil to keep the resistance...
