Thanks! I forgot to check last night, hoping to get to it tonight to measure the diameters and maybe snake a borescope in to read the prop pitch (assuming it wasnt tampered with).

ya. so apparently the threads were damaged pretty bad. I managed to run a tap into them and think i saved it. Thanks guys

See thats what I thought but it will not thread in at all and the threads dont appear to be damaged. Im afraid to run a tap or chaser and wreck the threads if they actually are different? Did any yamaha cranks (650, 701, 760) come with different threads?
