Much wider then what ski? The fs-1 looked to me to be same width as a superjet but with extra wide bumpers on the side? The eme I thought seemed to be in between a superjet and octane in width. I could be wrong though, would be nice to have actual length and width specs on both.

The FS-1 and the Q8 didn't seem that wide to me..

Does anyone else think the new Q8 looks like a 300sx with tubbies? I rode the 900 version in Havasu and that thing is awesome, just jumps out of the water being so short and powerful. Very smooth power on the 900. Would love to have one, Eric said the hull will be available for around 6K...

If your considering racing at any point you might want to start now on switching feet in corners, right turn, right foot forward, left turn left foot forward. Good choice for your first ski though, the 08 is an awesome handling ski.
