Maybe the best solution should be to find where all this water is coming from and correct that... Your ski should be able to roll upside down and have minimal water intrusion. Pole and hood breathers should have tubes that go all the way to the bottom of the hull so water doesn't come in...
Didn't read your book, but from when I first saw your thread titled "Cheap primer bulbs", I thought the first line I was going to read when I opened it was going to say "JUST DON'T DO IT!" Guess it just came up later than expected. Sorry for your misfortunes.
I bought a 2 1/2" rubber end cap for PVC for $3 at Lowes. Just sliced it open and clamped it on my exhaust to fix what I think is a similar problem as yours. Works like a scupper for the exhaust.
My 96 XP has very similar cracking with bulging. Only difference is the gel coat has chipped off like yours. I've been riding it like that since probably 2006 and it hasn't affected anything. The glass is pretty thick in that spot, anyways. At the most, for your own piece of mind, I'd think...
I think the original Krash holds were better than the current ones. I've never kicked the edge, and I don't have to kick hard to get in. They go up to my ankles to lock me in rather than only getting my toes in like most skis, which means I have to kick harder...

I have a similar, if not the same thing, on my ski. Brand new brain (maybe a year old, was sitting on my shelf as a backup) and it will run no matter which coil is going to which plug. It runs poorly and like it's on one cylinder when the coils are not going to the correct plugs, but it runs...
