    Other World Finals Live Feed?

Says it should be back on now with expression session freestyle? But it still is offline. Anyone got it working?

Where are all the world finals threads at?!

@badvinny How did the edge compare to the fs2? I've had fr2 and now an Evo. Heard the edge can be ridden at higher speeds and not break loose. Any truth to this?

    B pipe vs pfp

735 with a pfp and a 155mm pump would need a very very very low pitched prop to get it going. I'd think about spraying the pfp a bit or just getting the tnt v2 wet pipe. Msd total loss (spark energy and timing) would help with a 735cc in front of a 155 also, but along with TL comes cost and...

    Why don't I ever see dyno's?

Warning this maybe long.... Dynos are awesome tools when comparing any modification to an engine. The one thing about freestyle watercraft engines is Peak HP isnt necessarily what were are concerned with. Rev rate and power at lower rpm is what needs to be considered. Not all engine dynos can...

    62T 701 CYLINDER TO 760

Difference is 62t has smaller top case bore (to accept 701 sleeves) and one pulse fitting. 64x has larger topcase bore (for larger 760 sleeves) and 2 pulse fittings. I have found a few of the later 62t cases that have the larger top case bore but only one pulse fitting but that's rare

    62T 701 CYLINDER TO 760

I've typed it a bunch too. But I'll make a long story short. Both 701 (62t) and 760 (64x) share same cylinder casting. Steel sleeves are different only at the bottom skirt diameter (so the 701 will fit in the 62t cases where the 760 needs the larger 64x cases to except larger sleeve(or bore...

    pulled out my pulse fitting

Adrian, tapping a barb fitting is a great idea if the cases are apart. The aluminum and brass that will drop in the bottom end from drilling, tapping, and treading the new fitting in will prob ruin the crank or rod bearings. You can try and devcon or jb the existing tube back in but that would...

Please give me a PLUG read

Does not look overly rich (it is a tad on the safe side). You may be able to lean on the top screw a bit (a hair more on the front then the back) but I'd only guess you'd gain a few 100 rpm at best once you have it dialed. Is been almost 10 years since I tuned a ski with a pro tech pipe so I...

    Solas 148 SS MAG pump

Spent a good 2 hours on the test ski today in choppy surf. The white water hook up is really really impressive. Had to adjust my throttle control due to how much this pump hooks. No sales pitch here. I have no stock in solas just a truly impressed turner here. ... Thanks Chuck Palmucci CPT...

    Solas 148 SS MAG pump

I've sold a few of these but didn't get a chance to run a back to back comparison until recent. There is a very noticeable increases over a well set up 144mm. The hook up in white water conditions is amazing. I'm not much of an aerial guy but it added easily a foot of height to my flat water...

    Surfriding Krash Reaper Input

@WB1994 have you riden a reaper? I got about 45 min on one and to me it rides somewhat like an x2. I've had 4 x2s in my life and spent alot of time on a jammer my buddy had years ago. Def rode more like an x2 then a jammer. Please don't take this offensive everyone has there opinion. And my...

    Surfriding Krash Reaper Input

My opinion is if you desire a reaper type ride you buy an x2 cut 2 or 3" off the back. Cut the rail off the front and blend the nose. But a 701 yamaha motor in it with a b pipe. 13/18 hooker prop with r&d pump stuffer. And finish it off with an aftermarket steering. Cost you no more then $2500...

    Super Jet 701 Melting pistons

100-135 I'd say. If your running high compression I'd add a few degrees to both numbers. Adding Compression adds to heat of combustion. Which increases egt and piston temp. If the piston is hotter it grows more which means cylinder temp needs to go up so the sleeves can grow with the pistons...

    Super Jet 701 Melting pistons

Sorry for so many posts but also keep in mind too much cooling can cause issues. I try to remeber to suggest that all my customers run a temp label on the head. If your running an o ring head with added compression and your head temp isn't at least 110 120 Def F your cylinder is too cold...

    Super Jet 701 Melting pistons

Above is a clearance issue of one sort. Improper bore clearance/ cooling issue/etc (notice top edges are still intact and don't look to have started to molten) This one is a lean failure. Small jets/bad fuel pump/bad fuel filter/etc. (Molten aluminum evidence everywhere)

    Super Jet 701 Melting pistons

@kswiatk sorry I just saw this. We have at least 5 of these 61x's with a 46sbn in our group alone. All are 117.5-120 pilot (keep in mind the difference in jet diameter between the two is only .001"-.00175" which is almost an undetectable change)and 135-145 main. No doubt a 150 main will work...
