pulled out my pulse fitting

Like the title says I pulled out my pulse fitting by pulling on an old fuel line. To my surprise there was locktite on the line, I recently just bought these cases any advice on how to fix will be great. I was thinking tapping a barb fitting in the existing hole. Thanks in advance.

Adrian, tapping a barb fitting is a great idea if the cases are apart. The aluminum and brass that will drop in the bottom end from drilling, tapping, and treading the new fitting in will prob ruin the crank or rod bearings. You can try and devcon or jb the existing tube back in but that would be very temporary and could Def cause a burned piston (or worse) when the epoxy eventually fails. If you wanna split the cases and drill and tap a fitting in bring it up and will do it in a few hours

Clean it with a dremmel and use jb weld. It will probably last longer than the motor.

I have drilled and tapped pulse fittings on assembled cases, requires removing the intake and stuffing the opening full of shop towels and using a shop vac before trying to remove the towels.

I bought a new fitting from jetmaniac put on some red loctite and tapped it in. Then put a bead of epoxy around where the fitting meets the case.

green sleeve Loctite then tap it back in.
