Its not a mater of lining up. You don't want to use that hole. You want the stud to pass freely through that area and thread into the case.

Watch driling that. With the off center existing hole the drill is likely to walk and oblong the girdle hole in the head. Beter to grind or machine that section of the casting off.

Shawn. Buy a ball bearing system like the aura, thrust, titan etc. All have 2 double lipped seals (like cr250 style crank seals) protecting the ball bearings. I've had my aura on 3 different skis over the last 3 years and I've not touched it one time for maintenance.

@badvinny how was the hook up from the oem 155? Any idea what pitch impeller was used to get the 701 alive on the bottom with the 155?
