Yep, those are just mini versiplugs, It used to have dual scuppers but those leaked ALOT so now im going the dual versiplug max route and those plus dual 500 pumps should hopefully keep me floating :).
Today I power washed the tray and put 5200 on all the internal hoses and bond line Tomorrow Im going to work on fitting foam into the tray and adding my second versiplug pipe. Hopefully remember to take pics tomorrow!
Thanks, for all info. I read lightly about beer pong balls but couldnt find alot of information on how well they held up over time and how buoyant they were. I've decided to go with XPS but I do like th beer pong ball idea! Gotta let me know how they hold up
So I wasn't originally planning on making a build thread but after all the hours I've put into already I figured I might as well so others (and me) can learn from my mistakes. If anyone notices me doing something wrong please let me know lol. So I started competing last year in freestyle 800...
So its 6 years later and I was trying to find some "Beaded Polypropylene" to purchase. Most places I visit are more industrial and ask you to get a quoute. On US plastics I cannot find expanded or beaded Polypropylene. Has anyone recently purchased this online somewhere? Also can i simply use...
It's all about how much you want to get out. You can do it with 701 and a 2,000 AM hull or you can go spend 20-30k+ on one. There's lots of companies out there. Let us know what your budget is
I think what everyone is saying is sell the couch and buy a stand up! ;)
But go through and check all the easy and visible things first make sure nothings obviously wrong. Check your compression and make sure that's decent. Carbs on older machines can always use some cleaning and then start to...
I use a Jet pilot Matrix vest. It's a side entry and fairly thick which comes in handy on hard and fast falls. It's pretty comfortable plus I wear a wet suit for the majority of my riding and it fits perfect over that.
Buddy has a 1996 Wave Venture for $650. Wondering if its all interchangeable with a superjet? could i drop the motor into my RN hull? Is electrical all interchangeable? could i just bolt on my stator and flywheel to the motor? Would I easily be able to get my money back selling stuff off on ebay?
Do you really think a kid needs/can use a AM ski? I feel like its a good idea but in reality you can just mod up a super jet for a kid and not spend 5-8 k on a hull for them to do 180s and other things that can be done on a superjet. Once they reach the level for am they'll most likely be close...
Started off 2012, 12 years old
Dad's 89 650sx
Now/ my only personal a 96 superjet
White lake, mi started there and still there
17 year old now... not too many other teenagers on the threads?
check all the wires make sure nothings wore through or anything like that, spark plug cables not on something that could go through even if cant see could be weak on the inside. Make sure your ground is tight too.
x2 on probably buying a superjet first, especially if you've never owned one or done a lot of riding before. You could either buy a stock one to see if you really want to ride one or not and then start to invest money or buy one with AM parts in it like a b pipe and what not that you could later...
