I'll get an O-ring. Got OEM seals. If the current collar presses on tight, any need to get a new one? Do they 'wear' on the OD as well? Don't get me wrong, after spending the money I did rebuilding, I'm not going to start being cheap now[emoji6]

Crank is assembled. Just need to get the O-ring/collar on. Any suggestion on type of sealant to use? Like a high temp RTV or just silicone?

So far, this is what I'm getting:

Thanks! I'll give it a shot. I'll reach out to Protec and see what they say. Does it hurt anything to run with both closed? Or does it only affect performance? Guess I just want to know if I'm running the risk of overheating/ruining anything by playing with settings.

I totally currently own that hull right now... can't mistake that one of a kind paint job. I'm actually thinking of doing some rockering/shortening/footholding to it this winter. Just trying to get familiar with the process/ways of doing it. Hence why I'm reading threads like this :)
