Definitely sounds like it could be the same problem, I too was hoping it would be something else, 1.5years life is not ideal. I’m assuming it’s just a fluke issue / bad batch being it doesn’t sound like many fail. Do you know how old yours is?

I thought about trying this, just tapping a hole on the midshaft side between the coupler and spline area seems like it would work… however my concern was if it would weaken the midshaft too much and be a fault point for it to crack / snap.

The manifold still has water inlets connecting to the cylinder it just isn’t flowing through the majority of the manifold. It has to have two inlets because hey are not connected internally so if using single cooling you tee the barbs together. Factory pipe doesn’t seem to care about selling...

I’ve been running the fast flow line for coolant lines for a few years and it has held up great and is easy to work with. It doesn’t kink, or melt easily, and holds up well against abrasion.

I suspect these 760 rings slip (If not welded) when lightened for total loss from the inside diameter of the flywheel due to reduced tension/ press fit as you are removing material from “below” the ring gear.

I think you might have reliability issues like bending or breaking the steering cable if you try this. Is your steering setup using the full travel of the steering cable?
