Freestyle Never Tried XMetal 1400 XScream?

I think that there's more in the works than displacement. Saw some amazing experimental stuff on the intake side that might blow your mind in days to come.

Surfriding Wave Carver or Air Tricker

All good..."both" was a choice. We all do what we like. And we try what we wanna do!

Surfriding Wave Carver or Air Tricker

You're making too much sense. Surfer-SUPer-realtionships are a whole story alone. Mostly want to know what you like and do most. Edited in a choice for flatwater riders.

Surfriding Wave Carver or Air Tricker

I've been on both sides of this issue. I get a charge out of both. Lately (last 2 years) I've been concentrating on surfing/carving waves. Obviously there is no "correct" response to the poll except what gets you off. Curious to see the results. Everyone is gonna do what gives them a charge...

    Instant rev with no throttle

The "spray method?" It's not completely scientific, but spraying wd-40 or carb cleaner around the exterior of the motor while running will usually make a notable change in RPM when an air leak is sucking it in. If the crank seal behind the flywheel is bad, then your flywheel cover gasket, or...

Freestyle Never Tried XMetal 1400 XScream?

I'm sure that there was a time that 1000cc motors were not allowed in competition. The sport will advance with the tech. If you build it...they will come!

CLE Freeride Jetskiers 2014 Part II

I'm guessing it was pretty cold! Nice vid. Glad to see you're still at it. A bit confused about the backpack. Your bud skipping school? lol.

Custom/Hybrid Bendix takes out stator right before Daytona

This thread just scared me to death. I always thought that if it engaged and released, then it was good. Never knew what to look for. Just put it all back together. Turns over fine, but I'm gonna worry now, having an OEM bendix circa 2004.

Too much oil in my mix

I agree with the "no old gas" idea. However, I don't mix immediately. Other than color, my system is simple. Spout is in the ready-to-use position for mixed cans of fuel. Spout points up on unmixed cans. Nothing worse than having to run for fuel when the waves are good. Anything left over as...

    RN bouyancy

Drain plugs don't work so well without de-foam unless you have a few weeks to stand it on end & dry it out, which is a waste of time without getting it sealed up. I don't believe it ever really dries out (OEM foam) once it's wet. De-foam is a chore. If I were to do it, I'd go with pieces of...

    FPD's "Floatorious P.I.G"

"Ski builds are like tattoos, once you finish one, you will always be thinking about the next one." Quote stolen from OCD's sig. This only applies if you ever actually finish one. lol. Some of us continue to work on the same one for.....well, over a decade now!

The Thread with all the Best Jet Ski videos

http://www.x-h2o.com/index.php?threads/re-post-underwater-superjet-stabs.71523/#post-907607 The video that's supposed to be in the thread link above really needs to be in this thread. Can't find it anywhere. It was a very cool vid. An original for sure. TC Jet Pilots in MN? Anyone?

    FPD's "Floatorious P.I.G"

Made a decision. Gonna use the stock rail caps & turf with Black Marble cut diamond. Yes. I'm going for cosmetics for the first time ever. I figure: New paint, new motor, new lots of stuff.... The ski will never look as good as the day it's really finished. The poor thing has never looked good...

Super Jet Automotive Windshield Adhesive ???

That's some interesting stuff. I am a fan of 3M products. I noticed in the directions a reinforcement of snowxr's input about butyl.

Super Jet Automotive Windshield Adhesive ???

Really? It can be difficult...and messy. But it sticks. Maybe too well sometimes. It's got it's place in marine applications for sure. At this point I'm really leaning toward using the stock rail caps and finding the right adhesive. Just to be different, if for no other reason.

    FPD's "Floatorious P.I.G"

B-stock? Color? I see molded diamond on your ski's, I assume that's what it is. Wrong? I'm being kindly nudged toward "cut" because it's easier to work with on rails etc... But molded seems to stand up better, not only to use, but to the sun as well.

    FPD's "Floatorious P.I.G"

I want it done before Daytona. That doesn't mean I'm gonna ride Daytona. Either way, I'll be at Daytona.

    FPD's "Floatorious P.I.G"

I've spoken with him more than a few times about it. He's got a lot on his plate. I REALLY want him to do it and I've expressed that to him. I haven't talked to him in a few weeks, maybe a month or so. To be honest, I don't want to bother him until I have the materials in hand. Until then it's...
