    FPD's "Floatorious P.I.G"

Received true"Y" fittings from US Plastics and and finished off the cooling lines. Found out the hard way that you can't get them at any local hardware store, around here. Needed one but ordered 4. Hell, they were $.90 ea. A $3.60 order + $8.00 shipping..... Anyway, it's done. The "Y" was...

Super Jet Automotive Windshield Adhesive ???

Maybe. The quick-set. I don't think anyone dislikes 5200! In this application it could be a mess. ( if I were doing it..lol.) I'm sure it would hold just fine.

Super Jet Automotive Windshield Adhesive ???

That looks very comfortable. I'm torn. Not excited about building up the rails and rounding them off as shown. The caps retain the clean lines. Turf without pad might be unfriendly and hard

Super Jet Automotive Windshield Adhesive ???

I was not sure about what windshield adhesive was made of. Thank you! Butti is the best around here when it comes to installing turf. But he's silly-busy with work. I wouldn't mind using the rail-caps again if it would make the job a bit easier for him. Got an idea for a better glue?

a pic taken during the last turf job showing rail cap.

Super Jet Automotive Windshield Adhesive ???

As many of you may know, getting the stock sj rail-caps off in one piece can be quite a chore....often impossible. It's because of the super-ridiculous-space age-hard as rock-volcanic glass glue that they use at the factory. I've managed to get them off intact a few times now. With only turf...

2 months old and cracked carbon

Wow. The post that I commented on was deleted. So post #3 seems silly. Matt, I hope it all works out in your favor. That's a lot of miles in a short time on a bike.

I don't ride things without internal combustion. But: I think that light AND strong is the whole point of carbon.

    FPD's "Floatorious P.I.G"

It's not a 771. It's 737. The decal is not true. The builder put it on there as a prank. I left it. 83mm pistons. Stock stroke.

    FPD's "Floatorious P.I.G"

Thanks Tem. I'm no expert where body work is concerned, but I did the best that I could on your hood. I must have sanded it & primed it 6 or 8 times. Somebody with that talent would have been done pretty quickly. I'm very happy with the end result. Just don't inspect it too closely!

    Other 2 stroke from hell

Motor is home. It's beautiful. Got most of it together today. Turf and some tweeking... Shouldn't be long now. There is light at the end of the year-long-tunnel!

    FPD's "Floatorious P.I.G"

I figured they were for something like that...wasn't sure. It all worked to the plan except for the bolt. I had to shorten it a bit to accomadate the nose piece. Also had to use quite a few washers to take up space. Damaged the paint. That was quick! Now it has some character. lol. Impact...
