On a ride on Sun the coupler gap on my 90 SN has become large enough for the coupler to slip, but the engine mounts seem to be where they were when the coupler fit together correctly. Is this a problem with the midshaft and midshaft bearing? Or something else? I haven't disassembled it yet, any...

the positive connector is on top/middle of the starter and the negative is on the rear (away from splined shaft) but the entire starter enclosure is negative/ground. it only smokes when you press the start button, right? maybe the positive is shorting to the enclosure of the starter.

If it is the "i sometimes get a rumble when I let off the start button but not while it is cranking" behaviour that could be an open on the wires from the stator the cdi. I had a small nick in the one of the wires from my stator to ebox. I had spark most of the time I checked, but it seemed...

yes, I also have a 4' x 8' sheet of the 3/4" pink insulation polystyrene, but I can also use that in the crawlspace of my house if it doesn't get used on the ski. My local Home Depot also has a 2" pink sheet for around $26, but I'm surprised at the heavy weight of the pink insulation polystyrene.

What are you going to replace the foam with if anything? My ski is apart right now and I'm trying to decide what to replace it with before sealing it back up with my new footholds.. I sealed the bond line and put in drains, but I'm thinking of either: a) no foam, just lots of fiberglass...

Anyone have one of these already assembled with a b-pipe in it? What is the clearance between the b-pipe and the side of the hull?

I'm guessing the "Ship your ski, $10/day" is the storage fee if someone ships their own ski to you. Is that correct? Any other fee for accepting the delivery? What delivery address should one use when get shipping quotes?
