My built kawi 1100 with a trued and welded crank just grenaded with under 50 to 70 hours or less on it. The only thing I did was put a light weight flywheel on two tanks ago. And before this everything was absolutely mint. Do rods just blow in three pieces?
I had my rod let go and went through the case and my v force 2 reed cage and I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can get one of these only not a whole set?
This is the only pic I have but from the pump and from the stock bilge line come to a y splitter one goes into the exhaust manifold and the other line supplies the stinger water. After getting after it for a half hour you can hold your hand on everything no problem.
i will try to post a picture here in a little bit. the chamber is modded it was not done by me, this was a used 1100 i purchased that was in a superjet. i do not have a hood block kit... and the rear cylinder is losing compression now. i will look into the hook block kit i had no idea this was...
These plugs were new and have a half hour on them.. Brown black black ? Looks like it could of had water in the rear cylinder as I'm now losing compression in the rear cylinder... I still don't think it was fuel delivery but I'll go through the carbs and replace fuel filters since it had some...
I could try that. But I need to take it out for a half hour until it craps out then test it. But now that I think about it I had an old arctic cat sled that did this same thing. So unfortunately I bet it is the stator. I guess this is why I keep more then one blaster in the garage. Wtb stator!
So I've had issues with this ski since I've built it, it will flat out rip for around 30 mins then all of a sudden it will just bog and barely get up to speed but won't top out at all and it will only idle after a few mins of trying to just get up to speed. I thought I was having water issues...
Does anyone use the stock steering cable? I'm having second thoughts about using it, my seasons short enough as is. The stock cable I used was almost new.
