Sounds good. From reading a little about the pump shoe it sounds like it can be a pain replacing.

And my pump shoe is cracked all the way through with two small gouges. It's tough to see the cracks in the pic but it's cracked right next to the insert. Replace epoxy?

OK, the wires do look original. I did trim the wires back and put new boots on a couple months ago as the boots were falling apart. The wires do have a few wear marks from rubbing. Can I replace just the wires, Or should the coils be replaced also?

Stock 62t Engine. After the engine is heat soaked it will not start (cranks but no fire). Wait five minutes and it starts right up. Any suggestions on where to start? Stator? Thanks for the help.
