Just put the stock gas tank in and its a little tight with my factory pipe. Have you seen any other tanks people are running? Will a superjet tank fit?
I can post pics of my swap if your interested when I assemble it over the next week or so. I will also keep this thread updated about the ebox brackets
I had a 750 swapped x2 before the one I have now. It was slightly modded and it pulled ok. The x2 I have now has a moderately modded 701 and it pulls so much harder than the 750 kawi I had. I don't not like kawi motors but honestly don't think I will ever go back to the kawi motor after seeing...
They are to thin as of now for the carbon at 100% infill to be strong enough. Also I lost access to my carbon printer at school since quarantine wont let us on campus. Aluminum is cheap anyway. Definitely like Jetx setup it sits way more forward than mine. Only had mine so far back initially...
So I was never a big fan of the ebox sitting where the old oil tank was and it being held in by a rubber strap. I wanted it bolted down and stored more efficiently and wanted it to look clean. I made these mock up brackets from a 3D printer to see where the box would end up. Below is the first...
Depends on carbs some have a fuel pump for each carb. Im pretty sure the keihin carbs only have one fuel pump. Proper check valve on the gas tank? Make sure it is letting air in and not out ( someone may have put it on backward and its causing a vacuum in the tank and not letting fuel into the...
You are losing so much potential using the stock pump with that motor. If i were me I would glass in a superjet/waveblaster pump tunnel. There are a lot more options for pump upgrades for a superjet than for the stock kawi pump tunnel.
My modded 61x in my X2 with single 44 and factory pipe could run hard for 2.5-3 hours straight. X2 gas tank is a little more than 4 gallons give or take when topped off.
Im in York (Southern Maine) for this week and this weekend and thinking about riding sebago and other areas. Anyone live around here that wants to ride trying to meet new riders and find some cool spots.
Cheers,
Corey

Hello all, I need battery straps for my x2 so I can ride the thing. If I don't find some soon I will make some but really want to use factory ones.
Cheers
Im sure this has been done before but I would figure I would share what I put together over the weekend and maybe someone can get some ideas from what I made. So I'm a broke college student but I'm building my 86 x2 for the summer and the skis trim switch was seized up. So I really wanted the...
