Hello xh20 I am LIL G from manteca ca I am currently building a flatdecked x2 powered by a Kawasaki 1100 from a 97 stx so heres a recap on my progress and the help I need down below including pics of my 1100 build
So I bought a 97 stx yesterday fully running 100 percent no issues for 300 bucks with trailer best deal I ever found in my area I was so stoked I took it home and immediatly pulled the motor and ebox out wiring
I already have an x2 I flatdecked 9 months ago that was powered by a 750 it was nowhere near enough power for me milled head exhuast all the goodies so now I'm dropping in the 1100 into my x2 hull
So I pulled motor from 1100 and started installing it in my x2 heres what I had to do to make it fit without cutting hull fiberglass for exhuast I took off the exhuast chamber off 1100 removed carbs I removed the 1100 bedplate since it was too big and long I had to use a 650 bedplate set furthest back and the 650 rubber grommet to mate the engine coupler to the stock x2 driveshaft i did not not cut or nothing stock shaft so now I have the motor aligned and in the x2 hull ready to bolt down the 4 main bed bolts I put amexhuast chamber back on so I can mock up the exhuast system since its supposed to be rear I'm going to just route straight to my westcoast x2 waterbox I have idk if it will work but yea installed a 550 gas tank
I need help figuring out my electrical for the 1100 can I use a 650 or 750 ebox or do I have to use the 1100 ebox what can I remove from 1100 ebox that I wont use at all in swap
