I just was out yesterday for the first time since my build. -2.5" re-foamed SJ hull, 771cc DASA with an ATP EPIC, Xmetal trim and running 50/50 pump/race gas. I think a really good rider could flatwater flip this thing. I'm hopefully going to get close eventually with a lot of practice.

Finished installing the Xmetal trim, pump, etc. New motor is in and shimmed. Tray is glassed in. First I used marine epoxy to glue the tray back in place. Then I went over the seams with 18 oz cloth. Should I reinforce the seems more? I think it's good, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Where did you get the hood straps? I need to replace one of mine.

I glassed the tray back in last night. I forgot to take a picture of the foam after it was all finished unfortunately. I think I did a pretty nice job with the foam though. It took forever!

How is fuel going to get under the tray?

Yes, if you pack it in tight it will offer support, but it is a pain in the ass. You have to cut each piece almost perfectly. I just finished doing mine. A hot knife and a grinder with a sanding wheel helped quite a bit. Also, you may as well just cut out your whole tray. I don't know...
