3 skis to make one 750sx with 1100 engine some help please

I believe the shaft from the 750 SS or SS Xi can be used without modding in the 750SX 1100 swap. And the 750 pumps should also interchange. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Blaster yamaha 760

Hit it with a 1/2" impact gun. I've taken off at least 100 Yamaha flywheels and never had one that wouldn't come off with an impact, hand sledge, and a bit of propane torch work :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Also be careful not to thread in past about 5 turns, if you go too far you can tear up your stator. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are your fuel input and return fittings 90 degree fittings, and are the carbs silver? That would tell you they are AM Mikuni vs OEM that came on a ski, but they were almost certainly taper bored by somebody Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Super Jet The case's

Nicolaj, The 61X and 62T cases are both fine in strength, like mentioned above the flow is the difference. The 62T has a side-oriented reed mounting area versus the 61X with top mount. The 62T reed petal area is larger and can accommodate more flow, and position of the flow is better in...

    650/X-2 Mikuni dual carb help!

Did the previous owner say how long it had been sitting? If you can grab a better close up of the carb bodies themselves it will help ID them. Look like round body Mikuni BN's from what I can see. Probably need a cleaning/rebuild, not too hard to do luckily! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Does this seem right (compression)

Good, that is the proper way to test compression. It would be nice to check with another gauge, I have had two of those older Craftsman blue faced gauges go way out of whack. I replaced them with Matco gauge heads on the Craftsman hose assemblies, right around $10 right off the tool truck :)...

    Need some engine help

Girdle threads are M10x1.25 and head are M8 x 1.25. Are you talking about the water jacket corrosion? The piston looks like it just had some sand or corrosion that fell off of the head when you pulled it...but it could be deceiving in the oic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
