I would go with Pipe first, if your impeller is not too bad..you'll see the biggest difference with the pipe...cut out the middle bar in your intake grate (if it has one) this will help a little, also if you are doing freestyle stock ride plates are fine...if its extended i would cut it back...

My buddy has a 650sx with a 750 motor, pump gas compression, porting, 650 ingnition and flywheel, dual taper bore 44's, coffmans pipe, 750 nozzle, 9/17 skat trak impeller, the boat seems to be reving up and not hooking up like it should, anyone have experience with this? Is it the impellor...

Tonight Feb. 17 on the outdoor channel is a freestyle surf competion. On PWC tv at 8:30 and 11:00. This is the first time i'v seen this on tv, not sure if you guys already knew this.
