Slow down you want the ski to go up, not out. People get the Marriot and Big throws confused. 2 different tricks.

To Me, a marriot is done when you make a 180 turn and come to almost a compete stop, then nail the gas, toss the ski up and spin it around.

i second that...i use the same foot as you but throw the opposite way..
