I guess that's another argument for a limiting rope as well.

I can imagine. I'm doing research on my bilge options. Anybody have anything else on the form? So far I'm going to get footstraps / footholds, and crouch down further while giving it a brap after getting under.

Yeah, I'm in the market for a helmet right now... I've come close to wanging my head a few times. Unfortunately my head is huge so I gotta order it.

I'd try one with surf stance, but it's really hard to use my feet to pull up on the gunwales if my feet aren't level... I get twisted a little and generally fall off.

I'm getting on the bilge pumps too this winter... I swear! I'm currently just riding around a bit between each attempt to let the syphon drain work a little. I'll try blipping the throttle next time I'm under. Jawbreaker, I'm definitely flush and d-cutting the ride plate soon. I'll report...

thanks :) I'm definitely getting some footholds this winter. I'd do it now, but don't want to lose the riding time. Is my form ok though? Crouching, positioning, actions, etc?

Hey guys, I got out to do some riding this weekend and decided to try some subs. I have a completely stock '08 and I've been riding for about 2 months. Anybody have any comments or suggestions on how to get deeper, stay on easier, my form, etc? I'm assuming this is easier with footholds or...

Ah. Not too much surf typically on Lake Erie, sorry. I think the only way I'm going to figure out what to do with the rideplate is by riding a bunch of different skis with different configurations and just work it out.
