wayne, I know. Bilge is in the works. Unfortunately the lake I ride at is nearly 700 feet deep... so if it sank, there's no recovering it

if you sink it the ass end floats because of the foam. the bilge is to get the water out faster to avoid ingestion. i blew my front crank seal when i sank mine. that sucks to replace.

I can imagine.

I'm doing research on my bilge options.

Anybody have anything else on the form? So far I'm going to get footstraps / footholds, and crouch down further while giving it a brap after getting under.

Close your eyes(especially if you wear contacts...trust me)

Exhale through your nose.

Once you get straps/lifters/holds, don't go too crazy yanking the ass end up too hard, especially if you are going at a good clip, or you'll go in too vertical and do the old human catapult trick..again, trust me on this one. :biggrin:

I guess that's another argument for a limiting rope as well.

get hood straps also. once you start nose stabs and you land the ski on its side the hood can pop off. several people sell ratch strap systems or you can buy hood straps from a company.
