I was there riding with Gil and Ross in the show and it was the biggest surf I have seen yet. After the show, which was in the break close to the beach ( biggest shorebreak in Europe ) Gil and I rode the outside break Saturday afternoon and it was even bigger. up to 18 foot!

Ross was riding a LIGHT WEIGHT hull like me and Gil and he was not really comfortable on it.
I jump the wave 5 second before Gil launched for the double and I was the closest spectator.

He missed the landing into a sub by 2 degrees!

and had no chance for another try because all engine mounts broke.
