so, the upcoming freeride got me thinking about this. It is a situation that likely everyone of us has had to deal with:
"hey man, can I ride your ski?"
A year or 2 ago at the daytona freeride I watched one of the original SFSS's lend out a very nice ski to an out of state rider. The ski was properly sunk, dragged up on the beach upside down and returned to the owner with a 'sorry man'
that was it, he walked away. no helping to get it restarted, no apologies about the ruined paint job or gouged Xmetal pole.. and unfortunately..that ski failed to start the rest of the weekend..
everytime I think of that situation it pisses me off.
so, as far as test riding...whats acceptable, and what is not?
