What have you found in your intake?

Well... I know there is a thread at the other site about this but I havent seen one here yet. Today was my first experience with ever sucking a foreign object into my intake (besides weeds). I was out on the water for about a half hour today (after 2 weeks of downtime due to broken starter) and my SJ started cavitating like hell. This is the first time it has happened to me so im thinking something bad is wrong. I pull over to the side of the river (Grand River) and look into my pump and I had sucked up a children's toy into my ski and it was causing cavitation lol. It was all chopped up so I dont know exactly what it was but from what I could see there was no real damage to the prop. So... what have you sucked into your ski???

Leaves! We had just had a big storm blow through with like 50mph gusts and hail. Once it passed my buddy and i decided to go check out thte damage on the lake. Well apperantly the hail and wind hand blown alomost every leave off every tree around our cove and so when we went out we we idling and sucking up leaves so when i went to gun it there was a slight problem. i ended up having to swim my ski back in about 200 yards becasue i couldnt get all the leaves out of my intake.:banghead:

LOL im especially glad it wasnt a diaper. I would have puked if I looked into my pump to see a chopped up diaper with poo everywhere. I was out at the pits and bored so I decided to venture into the river. I havent ridden on it before. When I started cavitating I drove it slowly back to the gravel pit part because I didnt want to jump off the ski in the grand river :haha: I didnt have too far to go though.

I've picked up two plastic bags this year. No crap in them though. They are the biggest pain to get out of there. I grew up in the county where the scumberland starts. They told people to not eat fish from it or swim in it about 10 years ago.

About two years ago I sucked up the head from a toy doll. Its hair was all mangled and ripped out when I got it out
