Hole in my boat?

I found a hole in the firewall in the back of the engine compartment. its beside the coupling on the pipe side. its about an inch in diameter. It looks like there was a paper sticker covering it at one time. My question is why is it there (is it from the factory), and isnt that letting water under my tray (I can see foam)? Thanks for the help!

Factory foam fill hole, cover with epoxy resin and glass. You should have two of those places.

And most likely if its anything like my 05, water is coming in from all the pipes going thru the bulkhead so sealing the two fill holes won't matter much.

I was planning on returfing it and putting in foot holds anyways this winter........

Yea those stickers suck! But even more then the stickers refoaming sucks even more. If you don't know what your doing I would think twice about doing it. Just seal up the holes and call it a day. IMO good luck with it.

refoams suck, I'm at about 25hrs and still not done. Weigh the ski with an empty tank and decide from there. I did mine just to reinforce the sides and also because I was over 340 lbs RTR. Actually the more weight in the boat the easier it is to ride, at least in the surf! lol
