cars are allowed on the beach with a $5 daily permit. no booze on the beach but I think you might be able to on hotel property which is on the seawall side of the beach. you don't really want to back a trailer into the water there, its shallow far to long to keep you wheels out of the salt. there will be lots of beach wheels around to borrow.
Unless you have an Escalade...

correct, if you have an escalade towing an RXP and a 3d you should always back it into the ocean.

there is no fee to get on the beach in january, it's free. You will need a 25$ pass from the beach patrol though..
