To all who attended the ride-
Thank you soooooo very much for coming and hangin out in in sketchy weather at best! I truly love hangin with all of you and to me that is what freerides are all about! Last week I put new carbs/setup on my ski that I had no experience with setting up. Finally got to water test Thur night with Tyler and knew they were real close-He and I are riding Fri morning and about 1 hour into us riding-I blew a rear dome comp o-ring. And then proceeded to blow 6 more that day! I finally realized that my helicoils in my cast cylinder were walking out and causing the head to lift. I then try to replace the heli coils and made 8' holes in my cast Lamey cylinder and had no idea what I was gonna do to fix it short of buying another cylinder.
Crammit called and said he was comin to the house to work on my ski in the garage and that what needed to be done really could not be done lakeside. He got it fixed and then helped me tweak my carbs on Sat night at the ride spot. Had it not been for Crammit's help, I would not be riding for a long time to come because I dam sure don't have the cash to buy another cylinder. Long story short, I felt like an azz for not being there all day Sat, but had my azz in a sling due to my great machine shop skillz (or great lack thereof)lol. I got to ride all day today and the ski is runnin great and the head is staying on. KNOCKn ON WOOD! Got to ride a Q8 today and dam near killed myself, and got to hang with the cool people in the world!
