I found a broken wire today and i was going to order a set of msd wires but when taking my electrical box apart how would i go about connecting them to the coil?
if it is broken up by the cap you can get new caps and cut it back and re-terminate.
if it is broken further down the line (closer to the coil)don't mess with it (unless you are "really good").
replace coil or send here

the cavity(s) in the coil have a pointy 'spike' sticking up that makes the electrical connection. ( this is the hard part to clean around, and makes you realize how a tool lile Mark44 posted is handy)
okay thanks i was able to cut back some on the wire past the break but on the boot there is what looks to be a screw were the wire goes into. Do the plug wire boots just screw onto the wires? the boots are not stock they are NGK
were would one find such a tool? :dunno:

make one!!
Just use a piece of metal tube and make it 8mm in diameter with some saw teeth on one end.
You'll have to be real carful not to cut too deep or the electrical pin connections will be damaged inside the coil.
I made a hollow stepped cutting bit to use with a power drill so it would only cut down to a predetermined depth and the remaining spark plug wire can easily be pushed out of the tool.
All the above and I'll have to sell some of those tools on a web site with a few other products soon. :sneaky:How did I KNOW that you would chime in with the best solution.
