the intake grate broke ( I think) a week or so ago, a giant log had floated by my dock, and I was bunnyhopping it.

I made it over several times, then Tee boned that one landing.

my son was on the dock laughing his ass off.

Ill steal the grate off of his ski.

that's a good way of getting ride of a plastic reduction nozzle.

If you're looking for a new one I'd send you an aluminum one for $10 + shipping.

I never saw it.

but the lake is flooded, so there is crap floating everywhere.

there is a body somewhere from a boating accident a month ago, they have YET to find.

could a partially decomposed body cause that sort of pump damage?

That's sick...and I doubt it. I hit a sea turtle at WOT. It felt like I hit a dock piling, but no damage other than a little loss of gelcoat.

Dang!
I had something get sucked through the jet last week too. I heard this awful noise and thought I was going to experience my first engine seizure, but it just kept on going. Pretty sure it was reeds in my case.
Anyway, great carnage pic, and very glad it isn't an expensive one.

Only if you got the freaking femur!

I'm with Moonie and Shonuff, hunk of a redwood w/a big chunk of rebar thrown in for good measure!

Just kidding. I haven't done any actual experiments to determine which partially rotted human bone would be necessary to cause that amount of damage.
