You know any good alternatives? My waterdawg hood doesn't seal that well with my poopy seal... Anyone ever tried hydro turf as a seal? Like sutting out a big oval??
ding ding dingparker yamaha $87.99... but people say they are always on back order...
http://www.parkeryamaha.com/yamahahoodsealsj1996.aspx
but greater says they will match anybodys web price and they probably have it in stock or can get it quicker than parker.
JSS has one for $30, or $15 for blasters. I am going to give that a go this season. At that price I could change it every year and it would still be cheaper than oem. Not to mention the oem seals on blasters never seem to work right so it won't take much to top that...
Yeah, obviously it has lot to do with how much you ride, how good the hood sits/fits on the seal, and how well adjusted you hooks/receivers are set.
A lot of aftermarket hoods sometimes sit a little funny one way or another and will push or rub to hard on a OEM seal and after awhile cut it.
OEM in my opinion.....and Greater is at $115.63 right now.
I got mine from boats.net I think.
