I am intrigued by these shoes. I have tried different shoes while riding and can not get used to them. Shoes make it so that I can not swim well. Normaly cold water does not bother my feet. The other day I was riding some small rapids that were pure snow melt, It got to the point where I could not feel my feet in my straps.

I am tempted to try these out, but they are quite expensive. I like the fact that they are low cut. I also like the individual toes, seems like they would feel like you were barefoot. I think I might be able to swim good in them. They may look a little rediculous, as long as they worked well I could care less about looks.

Let me know what you guys think of these things. Have any of you tried them out?

Interesting!

I would think I would have to try them on - it seems like it would be easy to order the wrong size.

The design does not look as "forgiving" as regular shoes.

There is certainly an untapped market for water shoes you can swim with.

I am still looking for a better solution than the Solomans water shoes.

thats allot of money!! wow and i would think that they would wear out quickly due to all the foot movement in the tray! Great concept though

Carb, is that a cast? Looks like you wouldn't even be able to walk in that...

I like the look of those swim shoes but $90!! Plus I think the strap would get in the way if you used it on a stand up.

PS - If you've ever used foothold enclosures, you'll never use those shoes... Catching the enclosure between your toes SUCKS!!

Have you tried them on first? I've used the surf booties with the separated big toe and found that since your toes are close together they were extremely uncomfortable and felt like my toes were being wedged apart. Also remeber that your toes are the farthest distance from your heart and blood flow is weakest there so grouping your toes together helps in warmth. Why are you so concerned about shoes you can swim well in?

good support I need ( broke my big toe riding moto and ankle parasailing behind a pick up in the desert-weeeeeeeee), warm and they don't destroy your hydro-turf.
