Yeah I would say it's worth it, you could sell the steering for $200.00. If you buy it plan on spending another $1000.00 on it remember it's an x-2 they eat money LOL

i havent ridden the x-2.. but im sure all the riders will tell you get the x-2 over the couch..
for 275 (maybe talk him down if u can) it prob cost your 3-500 to drop a running engine in it and your off having fun..
still awhole lot cheape than the couch at 1200, not running (those engines are pricier)
im just dieing to find a running x-2 near me for a great price.

If it was closer I'd buy it in a heartbeat....the steering alone is worth $200 and if the guy put a UMI on it...I'm willing to bet there are other am goodies hidden.

ya the guy went to world's back in the early 90's. he said its DECKED OUT. i know for sure he has after market carb and exaust. he also has a carbon fiber hull:]

listen to shawn he is right the umi goes for 200 -300 used no problem and x2 geeks like us spend on there skis i am sure there is a lot of goodies in the ski , if you dont like it you can just make a lot of money selling parts to us guys, and if he raced then for sure it has goodies, buy it cut the hull around 2 inches, tubbies a great fun ski,, i have both a 550 and x2 i ride the x2 more

Buy it! X2's are frikin awesome! I got mine dirt cheap, thought it had a blown motor but it turned out it was only pump bearings that were seized. (The motor was fresh!) There are tons of little trick things you can do to it without spending money on it. If you buy it, you wont regret it! I have a motor for ya for cheap!!!

this kid and his brother go to school, and live near my oldest son in maryville outside of k-town. mad-jr didn't even know the were into skis until a couple of weeks ago. i think that i will checking in on them in oct when i come to visit

ya man i don't have the cash flow and i havn't even seen this ski yet in person. if It is just a pump bearing, then the engine is still good. If I Need a new engine..... Stunt318 is first on the list ... i just paid that ^^^^ for a running 550 that needs a new home:smile: :Banane36:
