FYI I am the only couch rider

therefore it goes with out saying...... if i am not bringing a couch in the surf...no one else should.

who ever was riding the red ultra needs to be taught proper surf riding techniques..... you don't go along with the surf carving it and chopping it up for the other riders..... you doughnuted a couple good waves up during what was supposed to be the cherry buster competition.

so in closing.... i am the only couch rider... i have this screen name for a reason..... even i know you don't bring a couch to a freeride surf event.... and if you do.... stay to the outer edges of the ride zone not right in the middle of it

I thought I saw several times where Nick said he was not going to allow Couches, HX's or B2's out there...

Damn, lucky nobody was injured. How come nobody went out there and got the guy off the water?

Legally the beach patrol cannot keep ANY boat out of the water....

Technically the only thing Nick could have done was just make the guy feel like a douche....Looks like Dan took care of that though..

Im with you guys...everytime that guy was on the water I got out...He was all over the place and using up every bit of it as well

I think the guy on the WHITE Ultra was doing some video work.

I never saw the Red one out there.

If the guy was bothering anyone, why didnt anyone go and talk to the guy in person?? Instead he is called out on the internet.
Im sure if he was asked to keep to the side or put time limits on his time he would of had no problem with it.

However I never saw the red ultra OCR speaks of. Only the white one.
If the red one was being dangerous, someone should of told the guy.

Thanks for the correction WD.

^^ Agreed. I talked to that guy after he was done riding. He was a really cool guy. He probably just didn't fully understand proper riding etiquette and no one bothered to explain it to him. I don't really understand it either, I just tried to stay out of everyones way because I had no idea what I was doing. I don't think my ski was working long enough to really bother anyone though. lol

I was not happy w/ having him in the water, but was too busy to track him down... Next time someone needs to explain it to him. It doesn't necessarily have to be me... We are all riding and need to be safe.

As far as the white ultra... he was filming and he asked before he came.

hahahahahahahaha

Next year someone needs to bring an old 550 to use as a torpedo against
couchers. If a dumb coucher is in the way, ghost ride the 550 right in the side.:arms:

:haha:

Someone call Travis. He'll supply the ammunition.
