it's all what's most comfy for you... don't try to copy someone else's style or habbits... do what's right for you... develop your own technique. I spent several years trying to ride like the pros only to not make any real progress. Once I embraced my own ride style I made huge gains.

that said, I both Stab and Barrel Roll right (whether in my holds or in surf stance with a front hold). And, I feel most comfy doing re-entrys to the left no matter what stance... but I'm workin on that.

I do find it much easier to go bigger in both my rear holds though. And for me, doing variations of tricks, like one handed nose stabs etc is easier for me in both rear holds.

pic - left foot forward right nose stab (attempted-re-entry)...

Nice pics frosty!

Prefer to stab to the left with my right foot forward. Simply cannot agree enough with water ingestion i encountered from failed attempts to the right when i was learning them.

Shifting my weight to the apex of the curve helps when you lead with your left, turn to the right, too. Just my .02 not that there could every be a defined right or wrong way to style a jump...there is some physics to surfstance stabs.

I can't wait for daytona this year!

What foot is infront of you when you ride a bike. If its your left foot spin right vise versa some people are different however it works for most. Both ways will work but it takes lots of practice.

it will be a fluid movement once you get it from the bars to your chin to your shoulders to your midsection to the bottom of the ski. if you look at the pictures you can see how they twist. This is also preliminary steps to the roll.

normally when i ride a bike, both of my feet go in front at some point...normally in a pattern of left, right, left, right, left right...probably a few thousand times depending on the length of the ride :smashfreakB:

lol...just busting you chops...but yeah i agree with u...left foot forward spin right...again thats peronal preference
