dont lend your boat to anyone at daytona youre not good friends with!!!!!!

i lent my boat to some guy on here (i wont name names) and he not only sank it and did me the favor of towing it back to shore upside down getting dragged across the bottom of the ocean (can you say "free paint sanding job?"), but then he left me with a dead battery and a motor full of saltwater and walked back up to my room on the 3rd floor and told me he "almost got it started, it should be alright". what a fkn mission that turned out to be. immediate buzzkill. :skull2:

your paint job looks sick! i painted my own ski too and thats really what ticked me off the most. after all that work and even having my decals custom made. dam!

Werd... I hear that.. people need to care for others ski...
Last year. someone rode my 5 mil Xscream for 20 mins with no water and clogged lines... NOT good.

Live and learn.. Funny part is, I will still let anyone ride it... ANYONE.
Just I am taking it into the water and clearing it out and making sure pissers are flowing before I hand over.. LOL

Oh well. :smashfreakB:

Something similar happened to me. Some young buck from inland asks to try my boat. I try to talk him out of it saying my ski has no bilges and no idle so you need to keep it moving. He says no problem, I've been lake riding 1/2 my life and dad started me out on 300's back in the day. Hmmm... So I let him give it a try. The guy could'nt make it past the inside and kept falling more than moving. Ski filled with enough water that it was'nt going to start but that did'nt keep him from running my battery down more. I had to swim out and get it myself. Lesson learned....

Well beyond the topic of thrashed skis.. its time to rebuild.

the main reason for the motor pull was due to my starter going. My dad does work with a guy who rebuilds electric motors so he did mine to factory specs. fully refurbished. i figured while i was doing that i would paint the bottom of my engine bay. i ended up doing that and it does not look half bad for brushing it on. in the mean time i found out i had 2 more mounts broken and bought brand new ones instead of dealing with breaking used ones. i painted the motor with silver caliper paint. it came out like doo doo (well the color choice) but im running out of time before daytona and im buisy as all hell right now through the holidays with work.

Dang bro... looks good. you shoulda picked up a carbon nose piece from TC like mine. that focker's bullet proof.

I'm still gonna have to wing it for Daytona this year. I will not know for sure if I can go until like the week before.

Drew and Brian are planning to go for sure. and I think Drew is buying an enclosed trailer this month. Should be awesome.

Sick well i hope to see you there. i havent rode with the group in well since summer! its been forever ago.

and haha i wish it was a billet motor. and well ive got myself taken care of for women so far :p
