rad was made before scrubbing came about,back in the days of laid back seat posts

bmx has become a little sissyfied if you ask me.none of the tracks around here have "doubles" anymore.its all "rollers" that you could double if you wanted to but like jr said,its quicker to manual them.this is also why you dont see scrubbing in bmx anymore

i thought about getting back into it last year just to get out in the winter but all i really want is to do some dirtjumping.maybe this fall ill pick up a cruiser.the steering on my street bike is so quick im a little scared to jump it:purr:

Any action sport has its risks. Stephen Murray is paralized from attempting a double back flip on a BMX bike. Well he had crashed many before that one and he had rode out of many perfectly before that one. But that last attempt did him in.

I made some sky dives years ago and took a big interest in it. I also followed BASE jumping. Well BASE is the most extreme sport. It is not a question of if but rather when. You WILL get hurt for sure, if you are lucky, you won't die. But everyone I ever talked to said it was like a drug you just can't break free from after you try it just opnce...

Dude I know all about risk. C5-C6 incomplete quad Dec 21, 2000. I was living the dream then it was a nightmear. Pissed through a tube in my wang, pooped when the nurse stuck a pill up my butt and asked my mom to itch my nose. Takes a few miracles and a lot of work to get out of that.

I just want to ride have fun and keep the risk as low as possible. I have more fun riding in the woods now than I did racing motocross back in the day.

Bye the way I got hurt on my snowboard not my bike.

Yeah I forgot about that Pete, you are still the man in my book. I am glad you pulled it out. I love snowboarding too. I just rec ride but it is liek anything else, far too easy to get hurt. Man a cathater is scary enough for me. I had a kidney stone once and they were talking about removing it via the wang. Not cool even if I was put to sleep. I had an STD test done once in college the aka swab job and that wasn't a fond memory. I rode a little MX in my day, sure I had fun but kept it conservative. I got hurt far worse riding BMX. I almost did to my neck what you just talked about. I was 19 and stupid. Overconfident in my abilities. Needless to say I never made it over a fence I was trying to bunny hop and landed on my head. Luckily I only needed stitches and stapples. That night, my guardian angles were looking over me. So now I am down to about 5 lives from my 9...

like pete said takes alot of work and miracles to overcome that
I am now getting to damm old to prove anything I have done my thing I still hate to see anyone get hurt you all see the new upcoming star and I worry about there well being now and keep telling them to be careful use your head stay smart wear a helmet maybe I am now becoming the old fart lol
I also have been the crazy injured one .
we got three last year jumping snowmobiles 1 is in a wheelchair probably for the rest of his life the other 2 are bad back injuries like I have had when I was in my 20's and you know what, those injuries do not go away . it's called arthritis haha
anyway I love the extreme sport's you get what you are willing to risk
