Well if you want to make High Point next year or Steel City let me know. I will fly home and go to either of them. I know the areas pretty well plus i grew up an hour max from High Point. Most peopel stay in Morgantown, WV when they go to Mt. Morris. It is a college town with far more things to do than in PA. If I move back home in the next year, I would even have a spare ski for you to ride as long as the river or lake suits your fancy. Then again I don't know where I will be in a year. I may or may not go to High Point this year. I will probably go to Steel City though.

I was riding with some people from here the other day and they were burning Klotz. They say smell is the sense remembered the most. Well smelling that Benol took me back 10 years or so being 15 or 16 watching the MX races at Mt. Morris wishing as a kid I could ride like the Emig, McGrath, Stanton, Henry, Lanson, Laracco, Kiedrowski, ect... I remember seeing Windham ride for the first time at like 14 years old and he almost beat Doug H on a 125. Those were the days. If I could only go back and do it all over again...

yea the mount morris race was a blast.

when i went to summer school in motown my buddies came down that weekend. the one hotel across from the hospital was filled with the motocross rigs. We saw Carmichael Driving around with his pit bike in the back of his truck. the day after me and my friends from home went out to breakfast buffet at shoney's and we sat next to david vuillemin, Tim Ferry, and some other rider who was hurt.

o yea and its great to have saki back. i missed all the moto talk :arms:

scrubing actually came from bmx.i dont understand why it took so long for mxers to pick it up.most mxers have bmx backround

i dont know if its done anymore but back when i used to bmx the fast guys also pedaled through the air so that your cadence would never get interupted(sounds easyer that it is)

Sup Butti...I don't see any scrubbing on BMX when we're there...now it's all manualing...for racing anyways...I just like going there to get air myself...but the fast guys manual to keep the wheels on the ground and pedal there ass off!

yeah, there's no scrubbing in RAD either! i think butti's been sucking on too much 2 stroke exhaust! :Banane01:

it's all about keeping that power to the ground!!! that's why i dont do the big sx triple jump.. because it slows me down... yeah, thats why! boy scout's honor!

FMX whips don't count! :highhorse:

remember when renner's whip beat twitch's backflip at x games? i was with twitch on that call.. you gotta admit.

Not here! I totally agreed with that call. Renners suicide whips are way more impressive than a backflip. Thats all Twitch did too, backflips.

I got to see him ride in ATL SX last year. The guys were poppin off backflip after backflip. The ATL crowd is a "racing" crowd, so they were not getting much reaction, until Renner pulled one of his whips. I've never heard 70,000 gasp at once, followed by a massive cheer, with racers high fiveing each other.

i hear what youre sayin, but that was back when backflips were still a big deal.. how does a whip beat a backflip? whips have been being done for way longer than bf's.... no way, i'm with twitch!

now renner's little brother is one SSSSSIIIIICCCCKKKKK kid.. i love watching that kid ride.

i watched him at a local race on a YZ125 in the PRO class beat up on 5 450f's... lol.. after falling, the whole pack passed him, he stoood up, dusted himself off, took his time picking his bike up, and still won the moto!!!!!

Saw Renner in ride/perform person once. It was also the first time I ever saw a back flip in person. Well I rememebr when the backy was the new big trick and only a few peopel had "attempted them" let along pulled them consitently. After that night, some years afetr Metz made the backy seem easy and a buncg of people were doing the, I didn't have as much respect for the backy. Too many guys that I have never even heard of that night were doing them.

Renner came out did his usual show, first time I saw it, and I was amazed. his whips still are the sickest! I would love to see someone barrel roll a dirt bike, he is almost close. Travis almost has a bike flip down too. He can do it in the foam pit.

And since we are on the trick category and people getting robbed... What ever happened to the 360? Anyone remember the wider ramps and Travis pulling them? That one year at the X games he knocked himself out in qualifying trying one. He had a huge black eye almost swelled shut. Well the next day he handed Nate Adams his ass and yet the judges gave the gold to Nate. WTF? Sorry but Nate has never been on Travis' level. I like how he said Travis' was done for a few years back. So what did TP do? Came out with a bunch of backy tricks and called everyone and told them how to do them. He was the one who originated half of the tricks the guys are doing.
