Helmet Hero 3 ???

Here you go, I use a Gopro Hero 3. If you watch the opening scene in the O’side crews latest video on the Home page you can see how we mount them to our chin guards on our helmets. What ever I see is what gets videoed. For filming close shots in the surf, I just shadow whoever I’m filming. The only thing that’s as maneuverable in the surf as a ski is another ski.

Excellent job on the helmet cam video. Our group in the Pacific Northwest tried them one year during the crazy winter surf. It was way too shaky due to looking all around trying to survive that Pacific winter surf. It turned out so bad they lost interest.

Looks like you had good sets to work with and had time to consider that you were shooting video instead of just surviving.

3 things i noticed..

1-I love crashes more than anything...i need to put those more in my vids

It was way too shaky due to looking all around trying to survive that Pacific winter surf. It turned out so bad they lost interest.

Hey Rasper our raw footage is way shakey also. It's amazing how much you move your head around when your riding. Matt and Chris both did a great job of editing the raw footage to make it look good. Out of 1 hr of video we usually get between 2-5 minutes of usable footage. Thats OK though, anything longer than that and every body will be falling asleep!!!

John, got the tubbie molds...parts are all here, watching this video makes me want to get out there so badly. Too bad summers over, time is so precious.
